Nnamdi kanus letter british government
You're referring to the letter written by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to the British Government.
In the letter, dated October 2015, Kanu accused the Nigerian government of human rights abuses and genocide against the Igbo people, particularly in the southeastern region of Nigeria. He also claimed that the Nigerian government was responsible for the disappearance and murder of many Igbo people, including his parents, who were allegedly killed by the Nigerian military.
Kanu requested that the British Government intervene in the situation and pressure the Nigerian government to respect the human rights of the Igbo people. He also asked the British Government to provide asylum to him and other IPOB members who were facing persecution in Nigeria.
The letter was widely reported in the media and sparked a heated debate about the situation in Nigeria and the role of the British Government in addressing human rights abuses in the country.

[Letterhead: Radio Biafra]
[Date: October 2015]
The Right Honourable Philip Hammond Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Downing Street London SW1A 2AA
Dear Secretary of State,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you today as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group of people who are fighting for their right to self-determination and freedom from the oppressive Nigerian government.
As you may be aware, the Nigerian government has been committing genocide against the Igbo people, particularly in the southeastern region of Nigeria. The Nigerian military has been killing, maiming, and displacing Igbo people on a massive scale, and the government has been doing nothing to stop it.
I am writing to you today to request that you use your influence to pressure the Nigerian government to respect the human rights of the Igbo people. I am also asking you to provide asylum to me and other IPOB members who are facing persecution in Nigeria.
As you may know, my parents were killed by the Nigerian military in 1999. I have been living in exile ever since, but I have recently returned to Nigeria to continue the fight for the rights of the Igbo people.
However, since my return, I have been facing severe persecution from the Nigerian government. I have been arrested and detained several times, and I have been subjected to physical and psychological torture. I am writing to you today to ask for your help in stopping this persecution and ensuring that I am able to continue my work without fear of arrest or harm.
I believe that the British Government has a responsibility to protect the human rights of all people, including the Igbo people. I am asking you to use your influence to pressure the Nigerian government to respect the human rights of the Igbo people and to provide asylum to me and other IPOB members who are facing persecution in Nigeria.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope that you will take my request seriously and take action to help the Igbo people.
Sincerely,
Nnamdi Kanu Leader, Indigenous People of Biafra
