Custom new tarriff yesterdays

You're referring to the new tariffs imposed by the United States on Chinese goods yesterday!

As of September 1, 2019, the United States has imposed a 15% tariff on approximately $112 billion worth of Chinese goods, including:

  1. Electronics: Smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices
  2. Toys: Dolls, action figures, puzzles, and other toys
  3. Clothing: Shoes, hats, scarves, and other apparel
  4. Furniture: Sofas, chairs, tables, and other household furniture
  5. Home appliances: Refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and other appliances
  6. Textiles: Fabrics, yarns, and other textile products
  7. Footwear: Shoes, sandals, and other footwear
  8. Handbags: Handbags, wallets, and other leather goods
  9. Travel goods: Luggage, backpacks, and other travel accessories
  10. Sports equipment: Bicycles, golf clubs, and other sports equipment

These tariffs are in addition to the 25% tariff already imposed on $250 billion worth of Chinese goods, which went into effect on May 10, 2019.

It's worth noting that these tariffs are not yet in effect for all products, as some products are still being reviewed by the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) and may be exempted or have their tariffs reduced. Additionally, China has retaliated with its own tariffs on U.S. goods, which has led to a trade war between the two countries.

I hope this information helps!
