World economics declares nigeria out of recession
I think there may be some confusion here.
World Economics, a reputable economic research organization, has not declared Nigeria out of recession. In fact, Nigeria is still recovering from a recession that lasted from 2015 to 2017.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Nigeria's economy officially exited recession in the fourth quarter of 2017, after a recession that lasted for 18 months. The country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 0.55% in the fourth quarter of 2017, marking the end of the recession.
However, Nigeria's economy has not been without its challenges since then. The country has faced issues such as inflation, currency devaluation, and a decline in oil prices, which have impacted its economic growth.
In recent years, Nigeria's economy has shown signs of recovery, with GDP growth rates ranging from 2% to 3% per annum. However, the country still faces significant challenges, including a large trade deficit, high unemployment, and a reliance on oil exports.
Therefore, while Nigeria has made progress in recovering from recession, it is not accurate to say that World Economics has declared the country out of recession.
