Who is nigeria new senate president

As of March 2023, the new Senate President of Nigeria is Senator Kashim Shettima. He was elected as the President of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on June 13, 2023, following the inauguration of the new Senate.

Senator Shettima, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), represents Borno Central Senatorial District in the Senate. He was previously the Governor of Borno State from 2009 to 2019.
