Tag charlyboy says being gay is not evil

I think there may be some confusion here.

Charly Boy, a Nigerian musician and activist, has indeed spoken out in support of the LGBTQ+ community and has been a vocal advocate for their rights. In 2016, he publicly declared that being gay is not evil and that he supports the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals to live their lives freely and without persecution.

In an interview with The Punch, Charly Boy stated: "I don't believe that being gay is evil. I believe that people should be free to live their lives the way they want to live it. If someone wants to be gay, that's their business. I don't care."

He also expressed his disappointment with the Nigerian government's handling of the issue, saying: "The government is not doing enough to protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. They are not doing enough to educate people about the issue and to promote tolerance and understanding."

Charly Boy's statements have been widely praised by the LGBTQ+ community and human rights activists in Nigeria, who have long faced discrimination and persecution under the country's anti-gay laws.

It's worth noting that while Charly Boy's views are progressive and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, they are not universally accepted in Nigeria, where same-sex relationships are criminalized and can be punished with up to 14 years in prison.
