Etim Edu is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Enyimba International FC, not Akwa United. He has also played for the Super Eagles, the national team of Nigeria.

So, to clarify, Etim Edu has not joined Akwa United. He is still a player for Enyimba International FC.
