Sonequa Martin-Green is an American actress, and she did appear in the popular Netflix series "Orange is the New Black"!

Sonequa played the role of Kashin West, a corrections officer at Litchfield Federal Penitentiary, in seasons 4-6 of the show. Her character was a tough and no-nonsense officer who often clashed with the inmates, but also showed a softer side on occasion.

Before her role on "Orange is the New Black", Sonequa was best known for her recurring role as Sasha Williams on the CW series "The Walking Dead". She has also appeared in other TV shows and films, including "Star Trek: Discovery", where she plays the lead role of Michael Burnham.
