Sokratis hints at early arsenal exit unless he plays more

Sokratis Papastathopoulos, the Greek defender, has hinted that he may leave Arsenal in the near future if he is not given more playing time at the club.

In an interview with Greek newspaper Sport FM, Sokratis expressed his frustration at being left out of the team and stated that he needs to play regularly to maintain his form and fitness.

"I'm not happy with the situation," Sokratis said. "I'm not playing, I'm not training with the team. I need to play, I need to train with the team. If not, I don't know what will happen."

Sokratis has been a regular starter for Arsenal since joining the club in 2018, but he has struggled for form and fitness in recent months. He has been replaced by younger defenders such as William Saliba and Rob Holding, and has been limited to just a handful of appearances in the Premier League this season.

The 32-year-old defender has a contract with Arsenal until 2023, but it seems that he may be willing to leave the club if he is not given more playing time.
