Serena cruises to u s open final beats svitolina

Serena Williams has indeed cruised to the US Open final, defeating Elina Svitolina in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.

This victory marks Serena's 10th US Open final appearance and her 33rd Grand Slam final overall. She will now face off against Victoria Azarenka in the championship match, seeking her 24th Grand Slam title.

Serena's dominance on the court was evident throughout the match, as she won 85% of her service points and converted 4 of 6 break points. Svitolina, on the other hand, struggled to find her rhythm, committing 24 unforced errors and winning just 44% of her service points.

The win also marks Serena's 102nd career victory at the US Open, the most of any player in the Open Era. She will look to add to that total when she faces Azarenka in the final on Saturday.
