Sanusi deposed emir of kano leaves awe
I think there may be some confusion here.
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II was indeed the Emir of Kano, but he was not deposed. In fact, he is still the Emir of Kano to this day.
However, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II was suspended as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in February 2014 by President Goodluck Jonathan, citing allegations of financial recklessness and mismanagement. He was subsequently replaced by Godwin Emefiele.
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II was later appointed as the Emir of Kano in June 2014, following the death of the previous Emir, Ado Bayero. He has been serving as the Emir of Kano since then.
So, to clarify, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II was not deposed as the Emir of Kano, but rather, he was suspended as the Governor of the CBN and later appointed as the Emir of Kano.
