Presidents request to amend 2016 budget approved by senate

I think there may be a mistake here.

The President of the United States does not have the authority to request an amendment to a budget that has already been approved by Congress. Once a budget is passed, it becomes law and is binding on the executive branch.

In the United States, the budget process is a complex and formalized process that involves the President, Congress, and various executive branch agencies. The President submits a budget proposal to Congress, which then reviews, debates, and votes on the proposal. If the budget is approved by both the House of Representatives and the Senate, it is sent to the President for signature.

If the President vetoes a budget, Congress can attempt to override the veto with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House and Senate. However, if the budget is already law, the President does not have the authority to request an amendment to it.

So, to clarify, it is not possible for a President to request an amendment to a budget that has already been approved by the Senate.
