Premier league agree historic februaury winter break

I think there may be some confusion here!

The Premier League has not agreed to a historic February winter break. In fact, the Premier League has traditionally not had a winter break, unlike some other European leagues such as La Liga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga.

However, in 2019, the Premier League did introduce a mid-season break for the first time, which took place in February 2019. The break saw a two-week pause in the league schedule, with teams playing one game on the Saturday before the break and one game on the Tuesday or Wednesday after the break.

The break was introduced to give players a chance to rest and recover during the busy winter period, and to also give fans a chance to enjoy some international football, as many Premier League players were involved in European Championship qualifying matches during the break.

So, while the Premier League did introduce a mid-season break in 2019, it's not a "historic February winter break" as you mentioned, but rather a one-off experiment that has been repeated annually since then.
