According to various sources, including BBC Sport and the official Southampton FC website, it has been confirmed that Sofiane Boufal has signed for Southampton FC from Lille OSC on a five-year deal.

The 24-year-old Moroccan winger has joined the Saints for a reported fee of around £16 million, making him one of the club's most expensive signings in recent years.

Boufal, who has also played for Angers SCO and has earned 10 caps for Morocco, is expected to bring his pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability to the Southampton attack.
