New creation realities scriptures
Here are some scriptures that speak to the concept of new creation realities:
Romans 6:4-5 - "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his."
2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Galatians 6:15 - "Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation."
Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Colossians 3:10 - "And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."
2 Peter 3:13 - "But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells."
Revelation 21:1-5 - "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Look! God's dwelling place is now among the humans, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.'"
These scriptures speak to the idea that as believers, we have been transformed and are being transformed into new creations, with a new identity and a new purpose. They also look forward to the ultimate reality of a new heaven and a new earth, where God dwells among his people and there is no more suffering or pain.
