Nani rooneys best days ahead

A Manchester United fan, I presume?

Wes Brown, a former Manchester United defender, made a bold prediction in 2013 that Wayne Rooney's best days were ahead of him. Brown, who played alongside Rooney at Old Trafford, believed that the striker was still improving and would continue to score goals for the Red Devils.

Fast forward to today, and it's fair to say that Rooney's career has had its ups and downs. While he's still an accomplished player, his goal-scoring record has slowed down significantly since his peak in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

However, Rooney has continued to play at a high level, albeit in a different role. He's adapted to a more midfield-oriented position, using his experience and vision to control the tempo of the game. His leadership qualities have also been invaluable to the teams he's played for, including Manchester United, Everton, and D.C. United.

So, while Brown's prediction might not have come to fruition in terms of Rooney's goal-scoring exploits, the former defender was correct in saying that Rooney's best days were ahead of him in terms of his overall development as a player and his ability to contribute to his teams in different ways.

What do you think, though? Do you agree that Rooney's best days are behind him, or do you think he still has a few tricks up his sleeve?
