Malaysia new president
I think there may be some confusion here!
Malaysia is a federal constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system, not a presidential system. As such, it does not have a president in the classical sense. Instead, the head of state is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King), who is the monarch of one of the nine states of the Malay kingdoms. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong serves a five-year term and is elected by the Conference of Rulers, which consists of the nine hereditary rulers of the Malay states.
The head of government is the Prime Minister, who is the leader of the political party or coalition with the majority of seats in the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives). The current Prime Minister of Malaysia is Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who has been in office since August 2021.
So, to summarize, there is no "new president" of Malaysia, as the country does not have a presidential system.
