Biography:

Ahmed Lawan is a Nigerian politician who has been serving as the Senate President of Nigeria since June 2019. He was born on January 25, 1959, in Talata Mafara, Zamfara State, Nigeria. He studied at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and later obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Jos. He has been a member of the Nigerian Senate since 2001 and has served as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts.
