Kwara govt cautions principals against asking students to bring block to school
A interesting one!
According to a report, the Kwara State Government has cautioned principals of public schools in the state against asking students to bring blocks to school.
The warning was issued by the state's Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jamil Saraki, during a meeting with principals of public schools in the state.
Dr. Saraki reportedly expressed concern that some principals were asking students to bring blocks to school, which he described as "unacceptable and unnecessary".
He emphasized that the state government has provided all the necessary materials and infrastructure for teaching and learning, and that students should not be burdened with additional responsibilities.
The commissioner also warned that any principal found to be asking students to bring blocks to school would be sanctioned accordingly.
This move is seen as a step in the right direction to ensure that students in Kwara State are not overburdened with unnecessary responsibilities and can focus on their academic pursuits.
