Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has carried out a major cabinet reshuffle, appointing new commissioners to replace those who were removed from office.

- Alhaji Muhammadu Sani, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Education;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Health;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Abdullahi, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Agriculture;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Sani, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Environment;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Works;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Abdullahi, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Lands;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Sani, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Justice;
- Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar, who was appointed as the new Commissioner for Information;
