To verify a new plate number in LTO (Land Transportation Office) online, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the LTO Online Plate Number Verification Tool
- Go to the LTO website at www.lto.gov.ph.
- Click on the "Online Services" tab at the top of the page.
- Select "Plate Number Verification" from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the plate number you want to verify in the required field.
- Click the "Verify" button.
- If the plate number is valid, you will see the vehicle's information, including the owner's name, vehicle type, and registration status.
Method 2: Using the LTO Mobile App
- Download and install the LTO Mobile App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Launch the app and log in using your username and password.
- Tap on the "Plate Number Verification" tab.
- Enter the plate number you want to verify in the required field.
- Tap the "Verify" button.
