How to activate new airtel line
To activate a new Airtel line, follow these steps:
Method 1: Online Activation
- Visit the Airtel website (www.airtel.in) and click on "Activate SIM" at the top right corner.
- Enter your new SIM card details, including the SIM card number and the date of birth.
- Fill in the required personal details, such as name, address, and email ID.
- Choose your preferred plan and add-ons (if any).

Method 2: SMS Activation
- Send an SMS to 54321 with the following format: ACTIVATE
- For example, if your SIM card number is 9876543210, send an SMS to 54321 with the message: ACTIVATE 9876543210
- You will receive an SMS with a verification code.
- Reply to the SMS with the verification code to complete the activation process.
Method 3: Visit an Airtel Store
- Visit an Airtel store near you with your new SIM card and proof of identity (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or voter ID).
- The Airtel representative will assist you in activating your new SIM card.
- Fill in the required personal details and choose your preferred plan and add-ons (if any).
- Review and agree to the terms and conditions.
