Ghana new notes

As of 2019, the Bank of Ghana introduced new banknotes in denominations of GH¢5, GH¢10, GH¢20, GH¢50, and GH¢100. The new notes feature enhanced security features and a new design.

- GH¢10: The GH¢10 note features a portrait of Dr. J.B. Danquah, a prominent Ghanaian politician and lawyer, on the obverse. The reverse features a picture of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra.
- GH¢20: The GH¢20 note features a portrait of Dr. Edward Akufo-Addo, Ghana's second president, on the obverse. The reverse features a picture of the Akosombo Dam, a major hydroelectric dam in Ghana.
- GH¢50: The GH¢50 note features a portrait of Dr. Hilla Limann, Ghana's third president, on the obverse. The reverse features a picture of the Kufuor Commission, a historic commission that oversaw the country's transition to democracy.
- GH¢100: The GH¢100 note features a portrait of Dr. John Agyekum Kufuor, Ghana's fourth president, on the obverse. The reverse features a picture of the Ghanaian flag and the country's coat of arms.
These new banknotes were introduced to improve the security and durability of Ghanaian currency, as well as to commemorate important figures and landmarks in Ghana's history.
