Fayose Urges Nigerians to Fight Against Buhari's Dictatorial Tendencies

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has called on Nigerians to rise up and fight against the dictatorial tendencies of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

Fayose, who is a vocal critic of the President, made the call while speaking at a rally organized by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, on Saturday.

According to Fayose, the Buhari administration has been using its powers to suppress opposition and silence critics, adding that this is a clear indication of a dictatorial regime.

"We must not allow this government to continue to suppress our voices and silence our critics. We must rise up and fight for our rights and freedoms," Fayose said.

He also accused the President of using his office to perpetuate corruption and nepotism, saying that this has led to the suffering of the masses.

"The President has used his office to enrich himself and his cronies, while the masses are suffering. We must not allow this to continue," Fayose said.

The former Governor also called on Nigerians to support the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the upcoming presidential election, saying that they are the only ones who can bring about change and end the suffering of the masses.

"We must not allow the APC to continue to misrule this country. We must vote for the PDP and Atiku Abubakar, who has the vision and capacity to bring about change and end the suffering of the masses," Fayose said.

The rally was attended by thousands of PDP supporters and sympathizers, who sang and chanted slogans in support of the party and its candidate.

It is worth noting that Fayose's call for Nigerians to rise up and fight against the Buhari administration's dictatorial tendencies is a reflection of the growing concerns among many Nigerians about the state of democracy in the country.
