Euro 2020 is now euro 2021 as its postponed for a year

Not quite!

While it's true that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruptions to many events, including sports tournaments, the UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2020, is still scheduled to take place in 2021, but with a slightly modified format.

In October 2020, UEFA announced that the tournament would be postponed by one year, from 2020 to 2021, due to the ongoing pandemic. The tournament will still be held in 11 cities across Europe, with the same participating teams and schedule, but with a revised dates from June 11 to July 11, 2021.

So, to clarify, Euro 2020 is still Euro 2020, and it's just being held a year later than originally planned.
