Delete a contact from new gmail
To delete a contact from your new Gmail account, follow these steps:
Method 1: Delete a contact from the Contacts page
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" icon () in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the contact you want to delete from the list of contacts.
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the contact's name.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up window.
Method 2: Delete a contact from a contact's profile page
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" icon () in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the contact you want to delete from the list of contacts.
- Click on the contact's name to open their profile page.
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the contact's name.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the contact by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up window.
Method 3: Delete multiple contacts at once
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" icon () in the top navigation bar.
- Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to delete.
- Click on the "More" dropdown menu and select "Delete".
- Confirm that you want to delete the selected contacts by clicking "Delete" in the pop-up window.
Note: When you delete a contact, you will also remove them from your Gmail account's address book. However, if you have sent emails to that contact, their email address will still be stored in your sent emails.
