Covid 19 travellers from germany france 6 countries to undergo 2nd screening
According to recent reports, the Singapore government has announced that travelers from Germany, France, and four other countries will be required to undergo a second COVID-19 screening upon arrival in Singapore.
The countries affected by this new measure are:
- Germany
- France
- Belgium
- Italy
- Spain
- Switzerland
As of now, travelers from these countries will need to undergo a second COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test at a designated testing facility in Singapore, in addition to the initial test taken before boarding their flight to Singapore.
This enhanced screening measure is aimed at further reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission in Singapore, particularly with the ongoing spread of the Omicron variant globally.
