Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and produce high-quality communication materials, including press releases, media kits, fact sheets, and social media content.
- Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, journalists, and influencers to promote UNDP's work and achievements.
- Coordinate with UNDP Country Offices and other UN agencies to gather information and materials for communication purposes.
- Develop and maintain a database of media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage of UNDP's work and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other UN agencies and organizations to promote UNDP's work and achieve common goals.
- Provide technical assistance and training to UNDP staff on communication and media relations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in communication and media relations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media relations, social media, and digital communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of another UN language (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic) is an asset.
