Chrome open link in new tab

A simple but useful question!

To open a link in a new tab in Google Chrome, you can use the following methods:

  1. Right-click on the link: Right-click on the link and select "Open link in new tab" from the context menu.
  2. Keyboard shortcut: Press Ctrl + Click (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Click (Mac) on the link. This will open the link in a new tab.
  3. Middle-click on the link: If you have a middle mouse button, you can middle-click on the link to open it in a new tab.
  4. Drag and drop: Drag the link to the "Tabs" section at the top of the Chrome browser window, and release the mouse button. This will open the link in a new tab.
  5. Use the context menu: Click on the link and then click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the Chrome browser window. Select "Open link in new tab" from the context menu.
