Binance google authenticator new phone

A common issue!

If you're setting up Google Authenticator on a new phone and you're using Binance, here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Remove the old Google Authenticator account

On your old phone, go to the Google Authenticator app and delete the Binance account. This will ensure that the old phone is no longer linked to your Binance account.

Step 2: Set up Google Authenticator on your new phone

Download and install the Google Authenticator app on your new phone. Open the app and follow the setup process.

Step 3: Add the Binance account to Google Authenticator on your new phone

Open the Google Authenticator app on your new phone and tap the "+" icon to add a new account. Scan the QR code or enter the secret key provided by Binance.

Step 4: Verify the account on Binance

Log in to your Binance account on your new phone and go to the "Account" section. Click on "Google Authenticator" and then "Verify" to confirm that the new phone is linked to your account.

Step 5: Update the Google Authenticator settings on Binance

Go back to the Binance website and log in to your account. Click on "Security" and then "Google Authenticator" to update the settings. Make sure that the new phone's Google Authenticator app is selected as the authenticator.

That's it! You should now have Google Authenticator set up on your new phone and linked to your Binance account.
