-
Matthew 9:23-26: Jesus raises the daughter of Jairus from the dead. "When Jesus came to the ruler's house, he found the flute players and the crowd making a commotion. He said, 'Go away, for this man is about to die.' But Jesus said, 'Don't be afraid. Just believe.' He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. They came and saw the boy lying there, and Jesus took him by the hand and said, 'My child, get up!' The boy got up and began to walk around, and he was twelve years old."
-
Matthew 27:52-53: Many bodies of the saints who had died were raised from the dead at the moment Jesus died on the cross. "The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus' resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people."

Mark 5:35-43: Jesus raises the daughter of Jairus from the dead, similar to the account in Matthew 9:23-26. "While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the ruler's house. 'Your daughter has just died,' they said. When Jesus heard this, he did not let anyone accompany him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. Then he went to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and he saw a commotion. There was a young girl lying there, dead. Jesus took her hand and said, 'My child, get up!' The girl got up and began to walk around, and she was twelve years old."
-
Luke 7:11-17: Jesus raises the son of the widow of Nain from the dead. "As Jesus and his disciples were walking along, they met a funeral procession. The young man who had died was a widow's only son, and a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, 'Don't cry.' Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, 'Young man, I say to you, get up!' The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother."
-
John 11:38-44: Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. "Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 'Take away the stone,' Jesus said. 'But, Lord,' said Martha, the sister of the dead man, 'by this time there is a bad smell, for he has been dead four days.' Then Jesus said, 'Did I not tell you that you would see God's glory if you have faith?' So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, 'Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.' When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come out!' The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, 'Take off the grave clothes and let him go.'"
These verses demonstrate Jesus' power over death and his ability to raise the dead to life.
