Atm transactions hit n39 15trn in q4 2018 nbs
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the total value of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) transactions in Nigeria for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2018 was N39.15 trillion.
This figure represents a significant increase from the N24.35 trillion recorded in Q3 2018, indicating a growth of 60.6% in ATM transactions during the quarter.
The NBS attributed the increase to the growing adoption of digital payment channels, improved infrastructure, and increased financial inclusion in the country.
