Apc crisis time to set oshiomhole aside along with his acrimony
The APC crisis! It's indeed a tumultuous time for the party. As the largest political party in Nigeria, the APC has been plagued by internal conflicts, power struggles, and acrimony, which have hindered its ability to effectively govern and deliver on its promises.
In this context, it's not surprising that many Nigerians are calling for the removal of Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the APC, who has been at the center of many of these controversies. Oshiomhole's leadership style has been criticized for being autocratic, divisive, and lacking in transparency and accountability.
Some of the reasons why Oshiomhole should be set aside include:
- Lack of transparency and accountability: Oshiomhole has been accused of mismanaging party funds, using party resources for personal gain, and failing to account for party expenditures.
- Divisive leadership: Oshiomhole's leadership has been marked by infighting, backstabbing, and a lack of inclusivity, which has led to the alienation of many party members and stakeholders.
- Inability to resolve internal conflicts: Despite his claims of being a strong leader, Oshiomhole has been unable to resolve the numerous internal conflicts within the party, which has led to a breakdown in party cohesion and a loss of public trust.
- Abuse of power: Oshiomhole has been accused of using his position to favor certain individuals and groups, while marginalizing others, which has created a culture of fear and intimidation within the party.
- Negative impact on party image: Oshiomhole's leadership has been marred by controversy, scandals, and public embarrassments, which have tarnished the image of the APC and undermined its credibility.
In light of these issues, it's clear that Oshiomhole's continued leadership is not in the best interest of the APC or Nigeria as a whole. It's time for the party to take a fresh approach, one that prioritizes transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.
What do you think? Should Oshiomhole be set aside, or can he still turn things around?
