2 timothy 2 15 good news

2 Timothy 2:15 says:

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (NKJV)

This verse is encouraging Timothy to be diligent in his ministry, to be a faithful worker who is not ashamed of the gospel. The phrase "rightly dividing the word of truth" is often translated as "handling accurately the word of truth" (ESV) or "accurately handling the word of truth" (NIV). This means that Timothy is to be careful and precise in his teaching and preaching, making sure that he is accurately representing the message of God's word.

In the context of the passage, Paul is encouraging Timothy to persevere in his ministry, even in the face of challenges and difficulties. He is reminding Timothy that his ministry is not about himself, but about proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to others.
