Your bible verse and prayer for 27 august 2022

Bible Verse:

"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude and trust. I acknowledge that you are the God of power, love, and a sound mind. I confess that sometimes, fear can creep in and try to take control of my thoughts and emotions. But I know that you have given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, and I choose to stand on that truth.

Lord, I pray that you would help me to recognize and resist the spirit of fear that tries to hold me back. I pray that you would fill me with your power and love, and give me a sound mind that is focused on you and your plans for my life.

Help me to trust in your goodness and sovereignty, even when the road ahead seems uncertain. Give me the courage to face my fears and doubts, and to walk in faith and obedience to your will.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
