Your bible verse and prayer for 25 august 2022
Bible Verse: "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude and trust. I acknowledge that you are the God of power, love, and a sound mind. I confess that sometimes, fear can creep in and try to take control of my thoughts and emotions. But I choose to reject that spirit of fear and instead, I choose to walk in the power and love that you have given me.
Help me to remember that you are always with me, and that you have given me the strength and courage to face any challenge that comes my way. Give me a sound mind, that I may think clearly and make wise decisions. Help me to trust in your goodness and sovereignty, even when things seem uncertain.
I pray that your peace would guard my heart and mind, and that I would be able to live a life that is pleasing to you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
