FC Barcelona’s forward and captain of the Argentine side, Lionel Messi, has faulted Super Eagle’s ego ahead next year’s World Cup in Russia.

Messi said this in an interview with FIFA online when asked to analyse the strength and weakness of the team in the same group as his country Argentina.

The forward in his analysis is of the opinion that the Super Eagles are unsteady in its approach to the games.

He said, “One day they score four goals, the next one, they leave plenty of space for you to do anything,” as quoted by Goal Nigeria.

Recall that Nigeria had thrashed the Argentine team in a 4-2 friendly match in Krasnador, Russia.

Argentina and Nigeria are also drawn in Group D in Russia 2018 alongside Iceland and Croatia.

His views on Iceland was a lot better than his thoughts about Nigeria as he rates them as an organised team, who are sure going to be tough despite the fact that they will be making their debut at the World Cup.

He said, ”Might seem easy, but they (Iceland) are tough and well organised .”

” They give you more room to play but they have great players,” he added.
