Why we cannot reconvene nass yet saraki dogara

I think there may be some confusion here.

NASS stands for the National Assembly of Nigeria, which is the legislative arm of the Nigerian government. It consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Saraki and Dogara are both former leaders of the National Assembly. Bukola Saraki was the President of the Senate from 2015 to 2019, while Yakubu Dogara was the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019.

As for why they cannot reconvene NASS, I think there may be a few reasons:

  1. Term limits: Saraki and Dogara have completed their terms as President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively. They are no longer eligible to hold those positions.
  2. New leadership: The National Assembly has new leadership, with Senator Ahmad Lawan as the President of the Senate and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the House of Representatives. They were elected in 2019 and are currently leading the legislative arm of government.
  3. Procedural requirements: For the National Assembly to reconvene, there are specific procedural requirements that must be followed, including the calling of a meeting by the President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the issuance of a notice to members.

In summary, Saraki and Dogara are no longer eligible to lead the National Assembly, and the current leadership has taken over. Additionally, there are procedural requirements that must be followed for the National Assembly to reconvene.
