Who is the new efcc chairman

As of my knowledge cutoff in 2022, the new Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is Abdulrasheed Bawa. He was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on February 16, 2022, and took over from Ibrahim Magu, who was suspended as EFCC Chairman in July 2020.

Abdulrasheed Bawa is a 40-year-old lawyer and a trained investigator with over 15 years of experience in law enforcement. He was a Deputy Commissioner of Police and the Head of the EFCC's Intelligence Department before his appointment as Chairman.

Under his leadership, the EFCC has continued to investigate and prosecute high-profile corruption cases, including those involving government officials, politicians, and business leaders.
