The presidential candidate of the main opposition party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is presently in a closed-door meeting with former president Olusegun Obasanjo in his hometown in Abeokuta with the hope to convince the former President to support his presidential ambition.
It would be recalled that the duo fell out during Mr Obasanjo tenure after which Obasanjo vowed never to support Atiku in his presidential ambition.
Also present at the meeting are the General Overseer of Living Faith Tabernacle, Bishop Oyedepo, Christian Archbishop Kukah, Sheik Gumi, among others.
Reacting to the news of the closed-door meeting, Nigerians on Twitter say the era of unity is here as Atiku will unite all; while others hail Obasanjo for making peace with Atiku for the betterment of Nigeria with the quote “a trusted enemy is better than a fake friend.”
Here are more reactions from Twitter:

Those always quoting Obasanjo to ridicule Atiku, see why you must join big’s men fight with your brains intact. No matter how messy it gets among our elite, they’re one. Insult Atiku to promote Buhari as much as you want, but Atiku is more dear to Buhari than your entire family. https://t.co/iKMA8KMkx3

Do you want someone who lost 11 million jobs in just 3 years as your President or do you want someone who has 50,000 Nigerians working for him in his private business? The choice is yours. Buhari walks to get you unemployed. Atiku works to get you working #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain pic.twitter.com/s6SY5ec0yV

Osinbajo signed 2 Executive Bills to enhance economic growth. How many did Atiku sign in 8 years? Atiku should tell us what he achieved in public office not how he spent his loots.
