Twitter introduces message button #comments

I think there may be some confusion here!

Twitter has had a "Reply" button (not "Message" button) for a long time, which allows users to respond to a tweet. This feature is also known as a "reply" or "response".

However, Twitter has introduced other features to facilitate conversations and engagement on the platform. For example:

  1. Quote Tweets: This feature allows users to quote a tweet and add their own thoughts or comments.
  2. Polls: Twitter introduced polls in 2015, which allow users to create and participate in polls on various topics.
  3. Threads: In 2017, Twitter introduced the ability to thread tweets, which allows users to create a series of connected tweets.
  4. Reactions: In 2017, Twitter introduced reactions, which allow users to react to tweets with various emotions (e.g., like, love, haha, wow, sad, angry).

But, to clarify, there is no "Message" button on Twitter that allows users to send a direct message to another user. If you want to send a direct message to someone on Twitter, you need to use the "Messages" tab on their profile or the "New message" button on the top right corner of the Twitter app.
