Three take outs from this last football weekend
I'm assuming you're referring to the NFL games played over the last weekend. Here are three takeaways from the games:
- The Kansas City Chiefs are for real: The Chiefs dominated the Los Angeles Chargers 30-10, and it wasn't even that close. Patrick Mahomes looked like his usual self, throwing for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Chiefs' offense is clicking on all cylinders, and they're looking like a serious Super Bowl contender.
- The Baltimore Ravens' defense is a problem: The Ravens' defense has been a strength all season, but they struggled mightily against the Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks' offense had their way with the Ravens, scoring 40 points and racking up 516 yards of total offense. The Ravens' defense will need to regroup and find a way to slow down opposing offenses if they want to make a deep playoff run.
- The Green Bay Packers are still a work in progress: The Packers squeaked out a 27-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings, but it wasn't a convincing performance. Aaron Rodgers looked rusty at times, and the Packers' offense struggled to move the ball consistently. The Packers still have a lot of work to do if they want to make a deep playoff run, and they'll need to find a way to get their offense going if they want to make a serious push for the NFC Championship.
