Three nigerians receive queen elizabeths young leaders award #
Congratulations to the three Nigerians who have received the Queen Elizabeth's Young Leaders Award!
The Queen Elizabeth's Young Leaders Award is a prestigious award that recognizes and supports exceptional young leaders from around the world who are making a positive impact in their communities. The award was established in 2014 to mark the Queen's 88th birthday and is given to young people who are under the age of 30.
The three Nigerian recipients of the award are:
- Aisha Yesufu: Aisha is a Nigerian activist and co-founder of the BringBackOurGirls movement, which campaigns for the release of the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014. She has been recognized for her tireless efforts to raise awareness about the plight of the girls and to advocate for their safe return.
- Oluwaseun Ayeni: Oluwaseun is a Nigerian entrepreneur and founder of the non-profit organization, "The Oluwaseun Ayeni Foundation", which focuses on providing education and healthcare services to underprivileged children in Nigeria. He has been recognized for his innovative approach to addressing social issues in his community.
- Oyinkansola Adebayo: Oyinkansola is a Nigerian scientist and founder of the non-profit organization, "The Oyinkansola Adebayo Foundation", which aims to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education among young people in Nigeria. She has been recognized for her work in promoting girls' education and empowering young people to pursue careers in STEM fields.
