I think there may be some misinformation here!

Samuel Eto'o, the legendary Cameroonian striker, has indeed played in La Liga for Barcelona, but I'm not aware of him ever stating that La Liga is the world's best league.

In fact, Eto'o has been quite vocal about his admiration for the French Ligue 1, where he currently plays for Qatar SC. In a 2020 interview with French sports daily L'Équipe, Eto'o praised Ligue 1, saying: "Ligue 1 is a very good league, with a lot of quality teams and players. It's a league that is growing and improving every year."

While Eto'o has had great success in La Liga with Barcelona, winning numerous titles including two La Liga championships and two Champions League titles, he has also played in other top leagues, including the English Premier League with Chelsea and the Italian Serie A with Inter Milan.

So, while Eto'o has certainly enjoyed his time in La Liga, I'm not aware of him ever rating it as the world's best league.
