Tag who print fake currency arrested in ibadan
According to various news sources, including the Nigerian Tribune and the Punch, a group of individuals involved in printing and circulating fake currency were arrested in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The suspects, who were arrested by the Oyo State Police Command, allegedly printed and circulated fake N500 and N1,000 notes.
The police spokesperson, Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the arrest and said that the suspects were arrested during a sting operation at a hotel in Ibadan.
The suspects, who are reportedly between the ages of 25 and 40, are from different parts of the country, including Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo states.
The police said that the suspects were arrested with a large quantity of fake currency, as well as printing machines and other equipment used for producing the fake notes.
The suspects are currently being detained at the police headquarters in Ibadan, pending further investigation and possible prosecution.
