Date: November 9, 2016 Location: Trump Tower, Manhattan, New York City Attendees: Donald Trump, President-elect of the United States, and various members of the press corps

Donald Trump: Thank you, everybody. It's been a long and beautiful journey. I just want to start by saying that this was a big league victory. Believe me, it was a big league victory. And I want to thank the American people for electing me as their next President.

Reporter 1: Mr. Trump, how do you plan to govern?

Donald Trump: Well, I'm going to make America great again, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to work with Congress, I'm going to work with the Senate, I'm going to work with the House. We're going to get things done, believe me. We're going to make America great again.

Reporter 2: How do you plan to address the concerns of the millions of Americans who are worried about your presidency?

Donald Trump: Well, I think the American people are tired of being taken advantage of. They're tired of being lied to. They're tired of being treated unfairly. And I'm going to make sure that we're going to be fair, we're going to be honest, and we're going to be strong. We're going to make America great again.

Reporter 3: Mr. Trump, what about your transition team? Who's going to be in charge?

Donald Trump: Well, we're putting together a fantastic team. We're going to have the best people, the best experts, the best minds. We're going to make sure that we're going to be prepared to take office on January 20th. And we're going to make America great again.

Reporter 4: How do you plan to address the issue of climate change?

Donald Trump: Well, I think climate change is a hoax. I think it's a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese to make us look bad. And I'm going to make sure that we're going to be strong on energy, we're going to be strong on coal, we're going to be strong on oil. We're going to make America great again.

Reporter 5: Mr. Trump, what about your campaign promises to repeal and replace Obamacare?

Donald Trump: Well, we're going to repeal and replace Obamacare. We're going to make sure that we have a healthcare system that's going to be great for the American people. We're going to make sure that we have a healthcare system that's going to be affordable, that's going to be accessible, and that's going to be fantastic.

Reporter 6: How do you plan to address the issue of immigration?

Donald Trump: Well, we're going to build a wall. We're going to make Mexico pay for it. And we're going to make sure that we have a secure border. We're going to make sure that we have a border that's going to be strong, that's going to be secure, and that's going to be beautiful.

Reporter 7: Mr. Trump, what about your relationship with Russia?

Donald Trump: Well, I think Russia is a great country. I think Vladimir Putin is a strong leader. And I'm going to make sure that we're going to have a good relationship with Russia. We're going to make sure that we're going to work together to make the world a better place.

Reporter 8: How do you plan to address the issue of racial tensions in the country?

Donald Trump: Well, I think we need to come together as a country. We need to be strong, we need to be united, and we need to be one America. We're going to make sure that we're going to be a country that's going to be fair, that's going to be just, and that's going to be great.

Reporter 9: Mr. Trump, what about your plans for the economy?

Donald Trump: Well, we're going to make America great again. We're going to create jobs, we're going to create growth, and we're going to create prosperity. We're going to make sure that we have a strong economy, a growing economy, and a fantastic economy.

Reporter 10: How do you plan to address the issue of national security?

Donald Trump: Well, we're going to make America safe again. We're going to make sure that we have a strong military, that we have a strong defense, and that we have a strong national security. We're going to make sure that we're going to be protected, that we're going to be secure, and that we're going to be great.
