Southampton FC is delighted to announce the signing of Sofiane Boufal from Lille OSC!

The 25-year-old Moroccan winger has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at St Mary's, with the club securing his services for an undisclosed fee.

Boufal, who has been capped 11 times by Morocco, has impressed in Ligue 1 with his pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability, netting 22 goals in 93 appearances for Lille.

"We're thrilled to welcome Sofiane to the club," said Southampton FC Manager Mauricio Pellegrino. "He's a talented player with a lot of potential, and we believe he'll be a great addition to our squad.

"Sofiane has shown his quality in Ligue 1, and we're excited to see him bring his skills to the Premier League. He's a player who can make a difference in games, and we're looking forward to seeing him in action."

Boufal becomes the Saints' second signing of the summer, following the arrival of Stuart Armstrong from Celtic.
