I think there may be some confusion here!

Novak Djokovic did not "crash out" of the Madrid Open. In fact, he won the tournament, defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final on May 8, 2022.

Djokovic, the world No. 1, claimed his fifth Madrid Open title and his 37th ATP Masters 1000 crown, defeating Tsitsipas 6-3, 7-5 in the final.

So, to clarify, Novak Djokovic did not "crash out" of the Madrid Open - he actually won the tournament!
