Donald Tsang Yam-kung (, 1939-2022) was the second Chief Executive of Hong Kong, serving from 2005 to 2012. He was a career civil servant and politician who played a significant role in Hong Kong's transition from British colonial rule to Chinese sovereignty.

Tsang was born in Hong Kong and educated at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Cambridge. He joined the Hong Kong Government in 1961 and rose through the ranks to become the Financial Secretary in 1983. He served in this position until 1995, when he became the Chief Secretary for Administration.

In 2005, Tsang was elected as the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, succeeding Tung Chee-hwa. During his tenure, he implemented several significant policies, including the introduction of a new electoral system and the development of the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Tsang was known for his pragmatic approach to governance and his ability to build consensus among different stakeholders. However, he was also criticized for his handling of the 2003 SARS outbreak and his response to the 2014 Occupy Central protests.

In 2012, Tsang announced that he would not seek re-election as Chief Executive, citing his age and the need for a new generation of leaders. He was succeeded by Leung Chun-ying.

Tsang passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 82.
