Here are some recent updates and news from the world of SPGS (Society of Physics Students):

Awards and Recognition

• Congratulations to Dr. Maria Rodriguez, a physics professor at the University of California, Berkeley, who has been awarded the 2023 SPGS Outstanding Physics Professor Award for her dedication to teaching and mentoring physics students.

Conferences and Workshops

• The SPGS is hosting its annual conference, "Physics for the Future," on March 15-17, 2023, at the University of California, Los Angeles. The conference will feature talks by renowned physicists, workshops on cutting-edge research, and networking opportunities for students and professionals.
