Southgate mentality will see rashford kane fit for euro 2020
I think there may be some skepticism about that statement!
While Gareth Southgate, the England manager, has been praised for his tactical acumen and ability to get the best out of his players, it's unlikely that Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane will be fit for Euro 2020 without undergoing a significant recovery process.
Rashford has been sidelined with a back injury since February, and while he has been making progress in his rehabilitation, it's unclear whether he will be ready to return to action in time for the tournament. Kane, on the other hand, has been dealing with a hamstring injury and has only recently returned to training with Tottenham Hotspur.
While Southgate has a reputation for being able to get the best out of his players, even he can't defy the laws of physics and accelerate the recovery process. Both Rashford and Kane will need to undergo a rigorous rehabilitation program and demonstrate their fitness and readiness to play at the highest level before they can be considered for selection.
It's also worth noting that Southgate has a strong squad at his disposal, with other talented strikers like Raheem Sterling, Ollie Watkins, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin who can fill the void if Rashford and Kane are not fit.
So, while Southgate's mentality is undoubtedly important, it's unlikely that he will be able to wave a magic wand and make Rashford and Kane fit for Euro 2020 without a significant amount of hard work and dedication from the players themselves.
